Missio definition
An artificial intelligence management system turns responsible AI from a collection of principles into an operating discipline. It connects leadership intent to policies, accountable roles, risk assessment, controls, records, performance evaluation, corrective action, and continual improvement.
ISO/IEC 42001 specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving this kind of system. The management system governs how the organization manages AI; it is not a certification of any individual model's quality, legality, or safety.
